One evil way to get rid of your teacher

[Our Lady and St Patrick's High School in Dumbarton,

harmful craze and has urged parents to
check their children's phones after
a string of derogatory videos were shared
on social media.

Elsewhere, Cwmtawe Community School

a meme falsely suggested one teacher

taking pictures of teachers in class
to use in often 'sexualised' videos.]

My daughter's high school sent round an email about this lately. No one called a paedophile or anything like that to be fair - but "comedy" videos made using pictures of the staff from the school website.

Unless the person who did it tells someone it was them and that info is passed on, the issue is that there's really no way to find out who made the videos.

Usually they'll have told their friends of course and it gets around and then someone spills the beans. However if they just keep denying it and claim it's just a rumour that it was them, there's very little action that can be taken.

They take the official staff photographs off the school websites and use those to make the videos, doesn't matter if phones are banned in school they can still make them. In fact, I would say that phones being used in school (and kids getting caught viewing the videos) is probably the main reason the teachers even know they exist in the first place.
