Oh how sad....I remember checking him in at work. A true gentleman and so calm and charming. Of all the famous people I have met through my work he was the one I have the fondest memory of...

I've seen quite a few of his movies , and I remember recently watching To Sir With Love again.

Very sad news R.I.P
He's one of those actors that made a difference and paved the way for others.

I think he was my first schoolgirl crush.
Saw him in a film on the telly.

A brilliant actor. He was exceptional in 'In The Heat Of The Night' , one of my all time favourites. RIP.
