On 23 August 2021, Charlotte raced home at 7:30am in a bid to watch Love Island on a bigger screen.

She had recently dropped her child off at school.

Her small Nissan unfortunately drifted into the middle of the small road, creating a disastrous collision with the Morrisons lorry on its way to deliver food parcels.

Later, her crumpled car was found with an unresponsive Charlotte inside, her phone was glued to the dashboard by a magnetic clip.

The iPhone displayed an ITV Hub error message.

The Morrisons driver was unable to deliver an adequate piece of dashcam footage to the police as it was ‘too blurry’.

However they were able to decipher that Charlotte reached for her phone during the gripping episode of Love Island, possibly to pause, or even more cruelly, switch episode.

It doesn’t matter what she was watching. It’s tragic news either way.

Love Island has caused too many deaths now. It needs cancelling.

Why choose to watch love Island or any distraction there & then , another unfortunate death that could have been prevented.
