Tibbs covid rule breaks.

This is a thread for us all to fess up to our rule breaks during the ever evaporating covid pandemic.

I was very naughty at times, but very very careful most of the time.

Anyone brave enough to admit to what rules they broke?

All have

Crimson Dynamo 29-01-2022 03:12 PM

I drank a lot of cold tea without milk

I had no idea it was whisky

Later i was informed whisky is alcohol

I also drank quite a bit of what I thought was work water

I was told that in fact it was fine white wine

I said i had only drank it for a short time, maybe 10 minutes once or most nights

its hard to remember as the tea has made me forget many things

God bless the Queen

You sound like a man who is now all to willing to keep his mask on, when out in public..:joker:

Nicky91 29-01-2022 03:36 PM

nope i haven't, i've always paid close attention to 1.5 metre distancing, wearing of masks also where it should, upon arrival of holiday last summer, i avoided stores, restaurants, reception there

and before LT tells me off, vaccinating isn't part of covid rules, as it is your own choice

as for washing my hands, i already do this very thoroughly pre-covid :hehe: same goes for disinfecting/cleaning of my room and how we disinfect our groceries too

we will continue to wear masks and continue to socially distance too

vaccination is no longer topic of discussion here for me with my parents, no = no and that remains like that, i am not in the mood to flip flop any longer about that, i am not afraid of omicron

I completely followed the rules apart from once. During the first lockdown, I was ringing my Dad for hours and he wasn't answering. He lives alone and it was when we were only allowed out for an hour so I knew he should be at home. I panicked, got in my car and went to his house. Let myself in, fully expecting to find him in a heap at the.bottom of the stairs......only to find him sat at the bottom of the garden, halfway through his second bottle of wine enjoying the last of the sun! He hadn't heard the phone and so I had broken non essential travel and entering another person's house whilst he was quaffing a bottle of red

In the first lockdown, Mr C drove to Norwich to pick up our eldest, as we didnt know how long it would last and we didnt want to be separated for months

other than that we pretty much stuck to the rules, though I have never logged a lateral flow test with the NHS :omgno:

Before saying anything about the topic, nice Avatar, and congratulations on your win today against Motherwell.

Tbh I can't think of too many things, I'd say though that I struggle to stay socially distanced in Supermarkets because of how cramped they are.

The mood rules alf...level 1, and level 2.

Can be arsed, can't be arsed.

I only listened to the 'no family gatherings' for the first week or two whilst numbers looked really bad. Once the hysteria (from myself) calmed down, we went on as normal. After asking my dad what he thought as he was the high risk one among us. In fact we probably saw more of each other than before the rules came in.

I followed not going to shops and stuff simply because they were closed. I also still rarely wear a mask, though do stick to distancing as prefer having my own space.
