Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2022) Netflix February 18th 2022

Melody, her sister Lila, and their friends Dante and Ruth go to Harlow, Texas, where they meet the revenge-seeking Sally Hardesty, the sole survivor of Leatherface's infamous 1973 massacre.

Might watch it.
But 'leatherface ' back in 2017 was dreadful.

Is this any good?

I liked the original but every one I’ve seen since has been crap mostly. This doesn’t look to be any different either.

I remember watching the original….it was disturbing then.

It’s just another Texas Chainsaw film really. The kills are disturbing. It’s alright, but nothing to get excited about.

It's daft and they barely establish the characters before bumping them off so you literally just don't care. I know this is true of a lot of slasher films, but it's especially the case here. I think the first of the "group" to die literally has two lines of dialogue before they get killed.

there are some films i can understand them remaking, but they are rarely better than the original. I can't fathom why someone would want to remake this

It's actually a sequel (to the 1970's original) rather than a remake - in fact, the girl who survived the original appears like a Poundland hybrid of Laurie in the most recent Halloween / Sarah Connor in the most recent Terminator.

Another disappointment was the new ' wrong turn ' reboot.
