No Nicky
Thats old stuff before Multi Channels arrived

SkyNews was years ahead of the sad BBC
doing the first 24/7 news channel.

Sky has done far more betting things
even using that BBC old fella for the Sky 3-D channel.
as the BBC could not do it.

Many of the BBC cameras are out of Date
720P

We Find that out on our Sky Recordings

BBC2HD Newsnight
did an Exclusive report on Ukraine, last night.

But I watched a report on SkyNewsHD in Ukraine
last week gave me more info
same place.

Full of outdated dramas (eastenders), doom laden news , crap, slow , quiz shows (pointless, eggheads), programmes for the elderly in prime time (countryfile, blue planet), awfully annoying chat show hosts (graham Norton). It needs a major revamp.

glib 03-02-2022 03:40 PM

When I think of itv however, I think of fab new dramas weekly (trigger point), good quiz shows (the chase), good soaps (Corrie), news that gives you both perspectives ..

Nicky91 03-02-2022 03:41 PM

idk about itv, can't watch it here

Mystic Mock 03-02-2022 06:04 PM

Well if that's the case I wonder when we're gonna get some adult Sci-Fi, Fantasy & Horror?

10k viewing figures? umm no its more than that, but still UK should become lesser lazy and start seeing the fun in Eurovision, like Moldova, San Marino's do vision the contest

also think a national selection like BritFest would be nice, to get scottish gaelic language, welsh language promoted across europe, and also nice to include artists from the north, east, west and south of the UK

possible presenters for this, Alex Jones would be nice (i like her a lot) AJ Odudu would come across well for a younger audience group and even a Ronan Keating is a possibility given he works for BBC now

Rylan would be nice either, since he does a decent job as presenter on BBC shows like strictly it takes two

i mean italy scores HUGE viewer ratings with their festival Sanremo, now 11 million viewers for this years edition

Spain had more viewer ratings for this benidorm fest than other selection shows in recent years

just saying i think if UK looks at the contest compared to how they now look at it, i think viewer ratings will climb for UK for its eurovision broadcast of the grand final

overall speaking across the world

adult eurovision: hundreds of million viewers tuning into the semi's and final

junior eurovision: 2021 record amount of viewers, 33 million and even in a non-participating country like Iceland whom broadcasted it for the first time last year, 98% of the country watched that

not to forget lots of views on all social media platforms for official eurovision channels like Youtube, TikTok, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook

so that UK is failing in viewer ratings is their own problem by how you guys look at the contest

also Graham is a fine commentator  i simply love love love his sense of humour
