Don’t get me wrong - I loved Diana (our Princess of Wales), and what happened was so tragic. But if anyones to blame it’s the elders, not Charles or Camilla. If they’d have just allowed him to marry CPB from the beginning which was all he wanted then it’d be a very different and much happier story.

People love Kate & Will, their humour, compassion, loyalty, and down to earth-ness.and they were certainly be King & queen within the next 10-20 years, so it’s not the beginning of the end

They are duller than dishwater and not nearly as relevant or progressive enough to keep royalty up with the times (like the Sussexes) William will not be seeing that throne.

They bore me to tears in all honesty.

And last I read Kate was playing rugby a few days ago, whilst Harry was sat at home, making a video via video link about how difficult his life is.

They are indeed loved. A beautiful couple with beautiful children. They are decent, truly caring, good fun but dignified and regal which befits the monarchy. You wouldn’t catch Kate squatting with her legs spread as if she was taking a s***, unlike Megs. :laugh:

Like it or not the modern Royal family has relied on characters like Princess Diana and Harry and Meghan to come along and keep them culturally relevant. Boring and unassuming might have been ideal traits decades ago but it's not what is going to keep them going in this day and age.

They're also lucky Liz has reigned for as long as she has because that's made her become an attraction in herself, when she's gone what is keeping the rest of the world interested in our royals?

I adored Diana…however much I hated what happened between Charles and Camilla and what it did to Diana…Camilla has always remained in the background and earned respect imo. They should have been together from the start but it wasn’t to be because she was a divorcee…
Charles and Camilla as King and Queen won’t make the impact that William and Kate would if the Royal family is going to remain an institution…
