It's not that it's a cover-up or bogus reason in this case; it's that Arista is WILDLY misreporting/downplaying the reasons he was fired.

He broke journalistic code by (reading between the lines) using his knowledge and contacts to help his brother (ex New York governor) combat sexual harassment allegations and was suspended pending misconduct investigations... and during the course of this, a woman came forward with sexual harassment allegations against Chris Cuomo himself (with evidence it seems) so they dropped him.

It's not because he "slept with a co-worker" by any stretch of the imagination.

the ex boss of cnn was sleeping with a co-worker though and Chris stuck the boot into him because cnn apparently owe him millions

I actually quite like Don Lemon, he is much better than the majority of presenters on cnn
