Ghosting in General

Have you ever been ghosted out the blue ,by either a friend or someone you're talking to online or even someone you're dating? .

And how did you deal with it ? , and what happened next ?.

I do it to people I find out are two faced and pretend to like you

If someone does it to me I don’t care but depends how much I liked them

Can't think of a time in my personal life when real life friends have ever been ghosted me. Neither have I ghosted anyone else. I would rather tell someone if I have a problem, or simply tell them not to contact me rather than ghost them, it seems a really rude and juvenile thing to do.

Professionally we get ghosted all the time - have a good memory though and I never forget someone who acts unprofessionally - its amazing how many people who ghost you pop back up and then want your help again.

No. I've lost contact with people over time and felt sad about that though, so I can imagine being ghosted out of nowhere must feel like ****.

I just find it weird how you could be chatting to someone ( by you I mean any of us in this situation) , and then the person disappears from the face of the earth . Or so it appears .

I haven't really experienced this in real life, drifting apart yes, in work situations it seems to be prolific, if someone wants something they are constantly on email, then they get what they want, and you need something from them and they are suddenly absent :fist:

I had a friend that did this to me twice ! both times some kind of jealousy over her man , she wrote to me both times just before my birthday and i let her off , then the 3rd time she did it I ghosted her and have never gone back , even though she's tried  who needs 'friends' like that. I loved her as a friend and she s**t all over me for nothing , just crap in her head.

I'm currently being totally ghosted by a guy I developed feelings for. But its kinda my own fault as I should never have caught feelings to start with, nor should I have been anywhere near him. I'm actually kinda unsure why hes ghosting me too. But its for the best in the long run as the situation would always have been quite ****. I was sleeping with him while knowing he had a girlfriend. I suspect the girlfriend found out, but then think I surely would have had some other form of **** rather than just being ghosted if that was the case.
