Found this and thought it was worth posting as it seems the marketing of Nikki in the Domino's ad has helped the Meateor pizza to become a notable product success. The girl did good.

Domino’s doing well in the UK

The strong growth was driven by successful product and marketing and further improvement in speed of service. Notable product successes include the Meateor pizza.
While management is naturally encouraged by the robust start to the year, it is mindful of the very strong comparatives last year as a result of the football World Cup in June /July 2006 and the strong product launch/marketing campaign in the last quarter of 2006.
‘Whilst prospects for 2007 are excellent, we are unlikely to be able to maintain the like-for-like growth rate achieved in the first 16 weeks of the year,’ cautions Hemsley. The store opening programme remains on track, meanwhile, with a total of 14 opening so far this year and the group on track to reach its target of 50 store openings for the year.
Currently there are 464 Domino’s Pizza stores open and trading in the UK and Ireland and the group believes the market continues to offer strong growth opportunities, reiterating that there is the potential for up to 1,000 stores in these territories.
Despite the upcoming tough comparatives in the second half, Domino’s reckons the strong trading momentum coupled with the impact of new openings will enable it to deliver full year results that are ahead of current market expectations.
The results and outlook for full year outturn pleased Numis analyst Richard Carter Bearing in mind the strong comparatives to come in the second half, Carter has conservatively increased his 2007 like-for-like sales growth forecast from 6% to 8.5%. This results in the 2007 pretax profit forecast increasing by 3.2% to £17.0m, giving earnings per shares of 24.6p.

Yes she did attribute to the success, dont forget, ad helps to sell well, Nikki did that to raise and prome awareness of the worldwide brand.

oh my god! have you ever been sat there and got a really really bad craving for a pizza or something, i want a pepperoni now!!!!!

Add to that most people watching it probably forgot who Nikki was by then , and if they did remember - I strongly doubt they bought a pizza on the basis that Nikki Grahamme is in an ad for it.

Th ad was on for 8 weeks, in all comercial channels, ITV, channel 4, Sky one" channel 5 and E4.

I dont really give a damn if this is considered a personal insult to another member so ill just go ahead and say it...

What was wrong with my post, did I insult anybody, no, I simply replied to a post that had no idea about the ad being on TV, I gave them info, now how is that a personal insult, cant you handle the your fav isn't oing well as gloden girl Nikki.

No what I dont like it you patronising other members about their favourite housemates and how their nothing compared to Nikki. Its like your assuming we are all closet Nikki fans.

On the contray I dislike her - and always will. And if you think she is to be credited for the success of a Dominos pizza your a bigger fool than I thought possible.

When did I say that during my post, A notable success of a business, which Nikki was involved, and opened a thread so Nikki fans non Nikki fans could congratulate her for doing well, no where in my post I talked about other contestant, your just twisting word per word, because Nikki did well, and you cant accept that, so your attacking me for opening a thread that Nikki did well. Thas you who is taking it the opposite way, not me.

But she did not do well , she did not do that much at all. Id place a wager that most people of the small few that still remember the ad dont remember Nikkis oscar winning performance in the bloody thing!!!

Of course she did well, your just talking nonsense, The business used her to promote awareness to the business, and increase sales, Which worked, so how can you say she didn't do well, if the business made a loss, then the businesses marketing of Nikki id not help, but it did help, Pizza was sold, profits increased, share price gone up, which means a success for Nikki.

Are any problems, of course I will congratulate, after all I'm a fan, if certain number of other housemate or your favourite did well, wouldn't you do the same, this is a discussion BB board for everyone, all you cant handle is jealousy, if dont like this thread, then buy.

Dominos have many other outlets of advertising , including promotional spots during the start , end and ad-breaks of The Simpsons on Sky One. They deliver door to door leaflet and any new pizza by them generates a surge in popularity anyway for a while.

Who is to say any part of the meteoras success can be attributted to Nikki's untalented , unwitty stroppy four lines and 14 seconds screen time in the ads. It might have been the ad itself , or it may have been one of the other outlets I mentioned.

Or maybee its because Domino's is already a well established brand name.

Ill bet that when most people saw the ad , they were sitting back in an armchair stuffing their face between episodes of some quiz show on a slow Wedensday night wondering what the hell 'that dopey attention seeking blonde one' from Big Brother was doing on their TV sets.

The people were sitting back and think how entertaining that Dopey attention seeker was, and pick up the phone and dialed Dominoes Pizza, to buy and stuff themselves with hot sauce and Pizza.:bigsmile:
