you'll be able to get a 'Swap Out' form
from the following places: print one off our website;
contact Customer Experience and
we'll post one out to you;
pick one up from your

Non-barcoded stamps will remain
valid to use until 31st February 2023

Not long to go

[Note: Special Stamps with pictures on
and Christmas Stamps without a barcode
will continue to be valid and don't need to be swapped out.]

On the link
you fill in your address for
a form for swapping stamps,
they then post it to you

Or you can use your own printer,
to print a form.

Good to Know.

Some Folks Bought Bulk 1st class stamps
before the last Rise.

That's why I updated this thread
to help folks like that
get their stamps exchanged.

Best way to fill in the Online Form
they post the forms to you.

Or the cost of you printing 2 forms

Never needed to use stamps. Most postage these days is a prepaid sticker.

I get all the cards i post weighed now anyway. A couple years back i posted a Birthday card to N.Wales with a First Class stamp on it, but all the recipient got was a note from RM telling them more postage needed to be paid. So i don't risk it anymore.

bitontheslide 03-09-2022 11:06 AM

i just use the royal mail online service these days and print out a label with the postage on it

arista 13-11-2022 04:31 PM

Royal Mail has NOW
extended the deadline for using old stamps
for six months from January 31 to July 31 2023

Tomorrow is the Last day
to send, a Normal non barcoded stamp.

From Tuesday 1st of August
Any NON barcoded stamps used
will get a Extra Charge at the other end.

Nice of SkyNewsHD
to point that out today.

Oliver_W 30-07-2023 08:18 AM

I usually print off a label from the Royal Mail site if I need to post anything.

bitontheslide 30-07-2023 08:32 AM

i think i've sent 1 letter in the last year

It's not just letters, I sometimes sell books and comics on eBay. They're (usually) small and light enough to print off a label and just drop in a postbox.

arista 30-07-2023 08:43 AM

Yes
a few will forget Tuesday is the end on old stamps
Not nice at the other end - Getting a Charge to pay.

ED Balls is angry
on GMBHD itv he said no one told him

He has posted a birthday card
and is shocked they will have to pay a charge?

Of course, if he gets it posted today it will be fine.

The Average Recipient will get a
fee to pay, which is £1.10 for using older stamps
from Tomorrow.
[GMBHD itv reported]
