Interesting date.....

The Slim Reaper 01-03-2022 04:06 PM

You'll still vote for them, and that's how they get away with it.

What does that have to do with anything? No problem with anyone voting for the nasty party, but then don't act surprised when they keep sh1tting on us.

In a Democracy

Also in 2016 the Referendum

Cherie 01-03-2022 04:45 PM

Gary Linekar gets £1,500,000 per year for 1.5 hours work per week

he is paid by the BBC and we all support the BBC by paying for our TV license

The Slim Reaper 01-03-2022 05:58 PM

Remember that time when Lineker cut the benefits of the poorest people in the country, wrote off £40b in covid and T&T losses/fraud, put up NI, then gave bankers a billion pound tax cut?

Man, they were weird times.

thesheriff443 01-03-2022 06:03 PM

I take it that’s all mp’s that are getting a pay rise

Lucky him

If he quit, the license fee wouldn't go down. The BBC spuffs all kind of money up the wall, but as long as the TV personalities and actors bring in good ratings and are liked, then who cares?

Just remind the forum what his tweet actually said, and how/why you believe it's a path to grabbing more money.

I'm not saying anything, I just asked you to remind the forum which tweet you found so offensive, and why it's a money grab. Should be a really easy thing to do.

No probs if you don't have the capabilities to do that, though :hehe:

LeatherTrumpet 01-03-2022 08:55 PM

Oh dear

The Slim Reaper 01-03-2022 09:03 PM

No need to worry. I said it was ok if you couldn't do it.

Kizzy 01-03-2022 10:03 PM

Lineker is targeted by those on the right for being a rich person who speaks on issues typically addressed by the left.

How dare he have money and make money but still voice a concern for others! Bastard!
