Seriously though, sports washing needs to be eradicated across the world. Need to get rid of City, Newcastle, and PSG owners.

i don't think anyone will be rushing to give him 3 billion
I believe he has put his uk property up for sale, hoping to cash in before his assets are frozen. It can't be long until the sanctions are applied the way things are going If he does get hit with sanctions, that will shut down chelsea, they wont be able to operate without cash going in or or out. His scam of giving control to the chelsea charity wont work edit: just to add that if he was serious about his love for the football club, he would sell it for £1 |
Is anyone buying anything from Russians right now.

it's official now
-------------------------- Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich says he is planning to sell the club. In a statement on the Premier League club's website, businessman Abramovich said it was an "incredibly difficult decision to make", which "pains" him. Abramovich gave "stewardship and care" of Chelsea to its foundation trustees following Russia's invasion of Ukraine. Earlier on Wednesday, Billionaire Hansjorg Wyss had told Swiss newspaper Blick he had been offered the chance to buy the west London club. Wyss said Abramovich wanted "to get rid of Chelsea quickly" after the threat of sanctions was raised in Parliament. Abramovich, 55, is alleged to have strong ties to Russian President Vladimir Putin, which he has denied. In his statement, Abramovich added: "I have always taken decisions with the club's best interest at heart. "In the current situation, I have therefore taken the decision to sell the club, as I believe this is in the best interest of the club, the fans, the employees, as well as the club's sponsors and partners. "The sale of the club will not be fast-tracked but will follow due process. I will not be asking for any loans to be repaid." Abramovich bought Chelsea in 2003 and he says it has "never been about business nor money, but about pure passion for the game and club". https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/60585081 |

Roman Abramovich sanctioned by UK [Chelsea FC owner Roman Abramovich has been sanctioned by the UK government as part of its response to Russia's invasion of Ukraine. He is one of seven oligarchs to be hit with fresh sanctions, including asset freezes and travel bans. The list also includes billionaires Igor Sechin and Oleg Deripaska, both seen as allies of Vladimir Putin. Prime Minister Boris Johnson said "there can be no safe havens" for those who have supported the invasion. "Today's sanctions are the latest step in the UK's unwavering support for the Ukrainian people," Mr Johnson said. "We will be ruthless in pursuing those who enable the killing of civilians, destruction of hospitals and illegal occupation of sovereign allies."] https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-60690362 |
