Oh no, so young

AnnieK 26-03-2022 07:17 AM

Such a shock this one. He was a major drug user in the past but had got clean. Always had so much energy on stage....a big loss. RIP Taylor

[March 26 (Reuters) - Taylor Hawkins, the drummer
of American rock band Foo Fighters,
has died aged 50, the band announced late on Friday.
The band did not give a cause of death.
Variety reported that the band had been
preparing to perform in the Colombian
capital Bogota on Friday at the time of his death.]

For some reason
the Band is keeping it secret?
so we have to wait

arista 26-03-2022 08:45 AM

[Hawkins had previously been open
about his struggles with substance abuse,
including a heroin overdose that led to
a two-week coma in 2001.
“I believed the bull**** myth of live hard and fast, die young,”
he told Kerrang Mag.]

He died yesterday Arista.....possibly some of his family don't know. They are not keeping it secret, they are respecting his family. His kids are only young. Its not for the band to say how he died

He Died on Friday
and he is a Super Star.

I sure his family know how he died
from the Band boss
well before it went public

The Band Boss Dave Grohl,
is keeping the reason how he died, secret

No need it will leak

If an autopsy is needed, no-one will know yet. I don't understand your need to know how famous people died. Whether he was a superstar or just a regular person, he was still a son, husband, father, friend and his loved ones need to process the news before you have your need to know a cause of death satisfied

Whenever i hear that anyone not of an age has died the first thing I want to know is why did that person die - i think its natural.

I don't disagree but to say Dave Grohl and the band are keeping it secret is ludicrous when there will be a number if reasons why the cause of death has not been announced.....most notably because there is a very good chance they don't know....or the family are not ready to release. Its not for Dave Grohl to say how his colleague died. It really bugs me that people (me included) feel that celebs are a commodity and we have a "right" to know intimate details just because they are famous. He's not even been dead 24 hours yet....when I lost my mum I could barely speak for the first few days nevermind thinking I would have to go into detail about her death to satisfy people's curiousity. He gad a family and their feelings are more important than anything right now

arista 26-03-2022 09:36 AM

He was found unresponsive
so whatever he took
it killed him.

The Band would see what's around him
on the bed.

They were all together in rooms.

Or he could have had a cardiac event, or a brain aneurysm, or a massive stroke or many other things.

Shane warne was found unresponsive.....did you assume he had a drugs overdose?

Its very possible it was a relapse but until its released, you are speculating when a man has just died, leaving 2 teenagers without a father

Of course they do....but if there was no drugs paraphernalia near him and he was dead, there will need to be an autopsy so toxicology test take time so there is every possibility that the cause is not known.

I am sure it will come out in time, my issue with your posts is you accusing the band of keeping it secret....when even if they know, its not for them to release it. The band was his job, its for his family to release, if and when they are ready

arista 26-03-2022 09:52 AM

"I am sure it will come out in time"

That will become good news

Not sure it can be classed as good news...a man has died. Knowing how he died won't change that.

bots 26-03-2022 10:03 AM

i'm not going into the we should know crap, i would just like to say he was a member of an iconic band that i have loved for a long time. RIP

[“I just got out of control for a while,” he later said. “I took it too far."]
Back in 2001 he said.
Taken from the Guardian

It is sad he Died
but Taylor has been using heavy drugs before.

There are other Drummers
that do not use drugs
they play at a high standard, as well
