Do you sleep with your bedroom door open?

And by open I mean even slightly ajar.

Kizzy 06-04-2022 05:53 AM

Yep and the toilet light on... I have issues lol

Niamh. 06-04-2022 06:54 AM

No, has to be pitch dark and doors closed

Crimson Dynamo 06-04-2022 07:55 AM

always open so the dog can wander about

rusticgal 06-04-2022 11:21 AM

Always closed...to stop the cat getting in and disturbing our sleep.

No

Me and my Bf are total opposites on this. so it depends whos last in bed. he says he wants the air flow, where as i want to feel cosy and dark. but whenever i wake up in the morning and see that the door was open all night long its a slight feeling of inherent shock lol even after 3 years

smudgie 06-04-2022 12:22 PM

Shut the door, shut the world out.

Cherie 06-04-2022 02:38 PM

Since the kids were born it was always open so we could hear them, and so the dog could wander in if he wanted. Now the dog doesnt come up stairs very much as he is 15 and the one son at home has his door closed but ours is still slightly ajar ...no lights on though or heating....

Good god no, how terrifying. I woke in the night recently and it had blown open and the pitch black hall was just starting back at me... TERRIFYING...

i never shut the door

Open so the cat can get in, he sleeps on a catbed behind the door. He's as good as an alarm clock, wakes us up around seven every morning.

If I let my cat wander in and out of my room at night I'd wake up with him sitting on my head

Ditto. PITCH black. Door shut, blackout blind down and curtains over it just to make sure no light leaks in. :joker:

Dogeatdog 07-04-2022 12:57 PM

Prefer it to be closed but if I’m home alone I’ll leave the door open for the dogs to wander in and out cause they’ll tap at the door and wake me up otherwise.

I don't think anyone will break in ,but I just find the idea of the bedroom door wide open strange when I've gone to sleep/ gone to bed.

I don't mind having it slightly ajar though.
