Its a very efficient method of killing someone if the hangman knows the persons weight and can match them to rope length. Thus the person falls at the correct length and his or her neck snaps thus there is not suffering.

Way too messy. Nowadays we should have a robot to execute people in jail thus not involving executioners who can suffer mental health problems. I am surprised this is not in operation in the USA
