Everest Base Camp

Planning on doing this later on in the year.

Has anyone ever done it?

Would you ever do it?

My brother did it, he's pretty fit but found it tough and really really cold [emoji3063] good luck with it

The TL did this back in the day. Mainly I think so she could tell people about it

:skull:

I think going to the summer market when it was full lock down was a test in its self

I know someone who did it. He likes hillwalking and climbing.

I am fascinated by Everest and mountaineering but I'm not sure I'd be up to even a trek to base camp. I could never attempt the mountain itself - too risky (and expensive).

i have a pal whose house has a view of everest. That must be something to wake up every morning and see

I am into hiking. I think the main challenge is coping with the altitude of it all when I do it. It won't be easy but if I'm going to do it I might as well do it sooner rather than later.

James to The Base Camp is not too expensive. Well with a tour company, flights and food maybe around 2000 to 2500 but if you actually want to get to the top of Everest I'm sure it's like 45 grand!

I'll stick with Base Camp for now! Will definitely get a bit more fitter before I do it x

Iv sdeen videos, it seems like a hellish tourist trap now

Video from a drone flown from the summit of Everest.

I'm pretty sure this is genuine (you can't be absolutely sure these days), though not all the shots of mountains are Everest.

you should go to the top of Everest, the view is better.

My oh my..

I know a lot of wild campers, and up early in the morning work at home hikers..

But nah, id rather do my own thing when it comes t9 exploration.

Surely you can absail from a helicopter onto the top if you got loads of dough.
