and getting a Massive Debt.

Obviously there needs to be a better spread but saying that everyone should do a trade is daft. If everyone did it, there'd be far too many tradies and they'd all have to start undercutting each other for work... completely devaluing them.

I agree, unless your degree is vocational don't bother. It's a debt you don't need find a new path into other jobs.

I agree. The “going to uni” culture has become ridiculous. For some parents it’s a badge to wear…for some children they feel failures if they don’t make the grade and live the ‘uni’ life. I believe it puts tremendous pressure on children and that’s where a lot of Mental Health issues arise. When I went to school it was clearly a case of those academically able went to University…today the pressure on children is too intense. Children are made to feel failures if they end up in college or go straight out to work…and sometimes the most successful people are those that don’t.
