Man U appoint ten Hag

I'm shocked and stunned

-------------------

Manchester United have appointed Ajax coach Erik ten Hag as their next manager.

The Dutchman, 52, will take over from interim boss Ralf Rangnick at the end of this season on a three-year deal which can be extended by a year.

i would add 3 or 4 more to that. The biggest thing is that the board need to give him the authority to drop a player etc as he sees fit. Unlike now where players call the shots

I read somewhere that Liverpool were interested in Rashford, would be interesting to see how he got on there under Klopp. I doubt Man U would sell to Liverpool though

this all started during jose's time. He wanted to make an example of pogba and was told he couldnt and then all the other players downed tools. In came Ollie and they toed the line for a bit because he was a united legend, but that soon wore off and they downed tools again. Ragnik, they have never given a ****, and he knows it. He wants to say they are a shower of assholes but can't at the moment, but i'm sure he will at some point

The whole squad needs to change - a new manager and new 1st 11 and I'll be happy
Its hard work being a Utd fan at the moment - there is literally nothing to be excited about.

Having said that, I think i may be a jinx. I watched the City v Liverpool game on Saturday and for one time only I was rooting for City - only for them to play like United. I think its me

Maybe I should be a Liverpool fan so they can play rubbish too :hehe:

Support Liverpool Annie :hehe:

Bruno and Ronaldo can stay...I like Cavani as well but he is going , maybe Sancho will improve

Calderyon 21-04-2022 12:47 PM

News here forecast that he is going to sign 10 new players and get rid of 18 of the current ones.

Current squad size is 38.

That's a rebuild.

Nicky91 21-04-2022 12:48 PM

i give him 4 months into the new season before he'll get sacked again

:laugh2:

overrated coach this one, how awful ajax played in dutch cup final last weekend, how easy PSV was able to play against them :laugh3:

maybe Onana wants to go with him :fan:

Not score very often? Are you sure you have the right Team from Liverpool there?

i think they should grab youngsters from the academy. They can be shaped into a team for the future. They have tried the ready made superstars and thats been a disaster. I would definitely support a rebuild

Yeah definitely and they'll at least have some passion and drive to play if nothing else

Cherie 21-04-2022 02:13 PM

I wonder if some of them will actually show some spirit now that a clear out is imminent

Cherie 21-04-2022 02:23 PM

Mcguire needs to be stripped of the captaincy asap

They should give it to Ronaldo, he at least has some fire and drive to win

Crimson Dynamo 21-04-2022 02:31 PM

The goalie is the only problem they dont have. Pogba is the cancer that should have been eradicated 2 years ago but now id keep Sancho, the goalie, Bruno and Mc Tominey.

and Ron

bots 21-04-2022 02:32 PM

de Gea or Ronaldo should be captain for the remainder of the season, they at least give a crap
