To those who know London well

In August having a few days in London. Actually staying in Kensington but gonna get the underground different places. Anyway one of the days I plan on spending in either Notting Hill, Covent Garden or Kensington itself. Can those who know the areas well tell me which of these places will be the best?

Cherie 21-04-2022 02:09 PM

Covent garden

Going to three musicals. Visiting madame Tussauds people call it rubbish and a tourist trap but last time I went I liked it. Going on a River Thames afternoon cruise. Going to the tower of London. Having some nice evening meals out drinks etc. Going on the London eye.

I'll be spending two days in London city centre as there's lots we want to see

covent garden is a great starting point. Lots of restaurants/night life and its easy access to lots of tourist sights from there. The other 2 options are a bit further out

Then Covent garden it is. Is Notting hill worth a visit though or not?

The Tower of London is amazing. Very interesting if you like your history.
You should also visit Southbank for some amazing restaurants.

Yes, I loved it. Really need to go again.

Vanessa 21-04-2022 02:16 PM

My favourite part of London is Leicester Square. When I go there I also walk to Covent garden.

Some nice restaurants there and I love the market.

Cherie 21-04-2022 02:22 PM

If you have time to do a bus tour it will take you past Notting Hill if you really want to go, but there is not much to see there tbh

Vanessa 21-04-2022 02:23 PM
