A MUM has married her cat — to stop landlords forcing her to give up the pet

[A MUM has married her cat — to stop landlords forcing
her to give up the pet.
Deborah Hodge, 49, tied the knot with
India in a park ceremony presided
over by a legally ordained pal.]

[The single mum was decked
out in a tuxedo,
with India in gold lamé, meowing through the vows.
Deborah claimed landlords over the years
forced her to rehome two huskies
and a cat — and she was desperate
to avoid a repeat.
She said: “I can’t be without India. She is truly
a sensation, she is so friendly and amazing.
She is fundamentally the most important
thing in my life after my children.”

Deborah lost her job as a coach last month
and fears she may be evicted from her
home in Sidcup, South East London.]

Love for her Pet.

Did the cat agree to the marriage or is it a forced marriage?

What happens if the cat wants to divorce or cheat on her?

"Get meowed of here!"

It sounds to me like she's having a mental breakdown after losing her job. She probably needs medical help rather than an article in the rags celebrating and cheering on her craziness.

I wonder if this will be a pawsitive relationship or will it end in Cat-astrophe?

Dogeatdog 25-04-2022 04:26 PM

It’s a bit odd this really I mean her cat is now surely her next of kin? That’s gonna be a bit odd when you have to fill out forms and stuff? Also if they divorce would she be entitled to half the litter tray like there’s so many questions that need explaining?

It sounds like she's a Zoophile to me.

I hope that I'm wrong though.

Swan 25-04-2022 04:39 PM

Are you saying to me that the only way to keep a cat safe is to marry it?

UserSince2005 25-04-2022 05:39 PM
