Greggs team up with Just Eat to give away free sausage or vegan roll

The deal will run between June 2 and June 5 and means anyone who spends £10 while ordering via Just Eat can get a free sausage roll or vegan version of the popular pastry snack. Sandwich fans can also get free delivery on orders over £10, while Just Eat restaurants that have 'royal' in their name will offer a 20% discount, WalesOnline reports.

To claim it use the code 'ROYAL20'. To avoid missing out, food fanatics should place their orders directly through the Just Eat app, or online.

Good for them but who really orders Greggs online and spends more than a tenner in an order

I was going to say, spending £10 on Greggs is a bit of a challenge! It would have to be multiple people, and then who gets the free sausage roll...

if you put half the shop in a basket it would still be £8.23

I don't think I've had a Greggs for nearly 3 years (when I left bookies), those prices have shot right up! I'm sure a sausage roll was something like 80p (or 4 for £3), steak bake etc. was £1.10...

I used to go quite a lot :umm2:. Don't judge me, anywhere there's a bookies there are very good odds there'll be a Greggs within throwing distance :joker: (Subway, Poundland, 2+ charity shops and a dodgy phone shop that mainly sells vapes are your other likely local amenities at any given bookies).

I once got tipped 4 Gregg's sausage rolls :joker:. Gave two of them to a rather drunk chap who wandered in with the condition that he **** off home. Now thats REAL charity! I think my actual exact words were "You can have two sausage rolls if you **** off."

Is it weird that I sometimes get nostalgic for that ****hole?

If you have the O2 Priority app you can get a roll or pizza slice free from Greggs every Friday and Saturday.
