USA: Biden closes in on a deal to send Migrants to Spain

[President Joe Biden is preparing to finalize
a first-of-its-kind deal with Spain to resettle
refugees from the Western Hemisphere
that continue to flood into the U.S.,
a Wednesday evening report revealed.

The pledge from Spain is coupled with Canada
significantly expanding its refugee commitment
in the region, according to an internal planning
document reviewed by Axios – and could help
the U.S. deal with the prevailing migrant
crisis at the southern border.

Both deals appear to be linked and
contingent on bringing in migrants for
work in both Spain and Canada.]

Why would it be? Refugees/Asylum seekers have the right to claim asylum where they want, so sending them across the world against their will is cruel.

If the US wants to stop migration on the southern border, they need to use the money it spends on overthrowing governments in the Americas, into helping those countries build up.

If migrants want to go to spain for work opportunities, then that's a different scenario, but sending people across the world to work for poverty wages because of an agreement between countries is dark and dangerous.

He isn't my political wing in the slightest, and bad policy is bad and inhumane policy, whether it comes from the left, right, or centre. It's about having a set of principles beyond hating on minority groups, whether they are refugees or trans people.

It’s effectively indentured servitude, there’s no two ways about it. Which is painfully ironic really… indentured servants from the americas, working in Europe. The snake eats its tail I guess.
