Australia being here at a world cup for 6th time in a row already is amazing :clap2:

France is not unstoppable far from, they rely on their powerhouse Mbappe too much, but otherwise they are kinda average, were also flopping in nations league, close to relegation into division B, rowing into the same boat as England more or less for now

Calderyon 10-08-2022 06:14 PM

France easy winner
Denmark easy 2nd
Australia 3rd
Tunisia 4th

Nicky91 11-08-2022 06:54 AM

France 1st
Australia 2nd (more wishful thinking maybe but GO Aussies GO)
Denmark 3rd
Tunisia 4th

Guus Hiddink had joined Australia's staff team as an advisor

the one who became a legend in South Korea after their surprise long run in the 2002 world cup

Nicky91 22-09-2022 01:53 PM

fun fact

Graham Arnold (now manager) had been Hiddink's assistent back when he was australia manager

and Guus is his advisor

technical staff socceroos
Quote:

manager: Graham Arnold
assistent: Rene Meulensteen
advisor: Guus Hiddink
assistent: Tony Vidmar
goalkeeping coach: John Crawley
fitness coach: Fabian Ehrmann
technical consultant: Ron Smith

soccer is really starting to become more and more popular over there

their most experienced, most capped players currently are

Matthew Ryan (GK) 75 caps (FC Copenhagen)

Trent Sainsbury (DF) 61 caps (Al-Wakrah)

Aaron Mooy (MF) 53 caps (Celtic)

Mathew Leckie (FW) 72 caps, 13 goals (Melbourne City)

as preparation for them, they are going to play two friendlies vs New Zealand today and the 25th september

4 times winner of Oceania Cup, 1 time champion of Asian Cup

1 time runner up, 1 third place in Confederations Cup

and this is literally their 5th appearance in world cup in a row and 6th appearance in total

has been a solid top 50 nation in the FIFA Rankings since 2016 basically

Nicky91 14-11-2022 01:24 PM

come on Socceroos :dance2:

can Les Blues get back to top form compared to recent bad form in nations league?

Calderyon 22-11-2022 08:00 AM

France v Australia 7PM

Denmark vs Tunisia.
Denmark is a good team. Should do well

Vanessa 22-11-2022 12:25 PM

Tunisia offside. No goal.

Vanessa 22-11-2022 12:26 PM

Come on Danemark!

Vanessa 22-11-2022 12:43 PM

Offside again.

Crimson Dynamo 22-11-2022 12:45 PM

what a save

Vanessa 22-11-2022 12:46 PM

Yes, that was impressive.

Nicky91 22-11-2022 01:14 PM

am thankful these are two opponents of australia somehow

not very impressive from denmark, and tunisia well decent but not good

am curious for tonight, what we can do against a more weakened france (without benzema, kante, pogba whom are tbh real superstars and big misses for les bleus)

Nicky91 22-11-2022 01:15 PM

offside denmark

Nicky91 22-11-2022 01:23 PM

denmark sub time incoming i think

i see Cornelius warming up

Nicky91 22-11-2022 01:26 PM

Cornelius for Skov Olsen

Mathias Jensen for Kjaer

Lindstrom for Dolberg

3 fresh players for denmark

Nicky91 22-11-2022 01:27 PM

Tunisia sub time

Sliti for Ben Slimane

Nicky91 22-11-2022 01:29 PM

great shot from Eriksen, and a great save from Dahmen

Nicky91 22-11-2022 01:30 PM

what a header from Kristensen and barely not a goal, Cornelius couldn't get to the ball in time, before a tunisian defender

Crimson Dynamo 22-11-2022 01:31 PM

If Tunisia score there will be a riot :joker:

Nicky91 22-11-2022 01:31 PM

should've been a penalty for tunisia?

Crimson Dynamo 22-11-2022 01:32 PM

pen
