hmmm, might be wrong here but difficult group for me

Brazil 1st
Serbia 2nd
Cameroon 3rd
Switzerland 4th

i have recently noticed at africa cup that Cameroon seem to be on their way back to some of their old strong form

Nicky91 14-11-2022 01:35 PM

some surprising choices from Brazil to still opt for veterans like Thiago Silva, Dani Alves (although with all honesty both who are still playing very consistently well at their respective clubs Chelsea and UNAM) and all in all it is a great squad, for sure going to be contenders i think

Cameroon got one experienced name as their coach, former captain Rigobert Song, and in the squad familiar names such as Andre Onana, Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting, Vincent Aboubakar

Serbia whom got great stars like Dusan Tadic, Sergey Milinkovic-Savic, Luka Jovic, Nemanja Gudelj, Filip Kostic

and Switzerland who got experience in Yann Sommer, Ricardo Rodriguez, Manuel Akanji, Granit Xhaka, Xherdan Shaqiri, Fabian Frei, Haris Seferovic

They couldn’t find a place for Firmino or Gabriel from Arsenal either

on paper, i'd say the Swiss are gonna win

but after crazy upsets from Saudis over Argentina, and Japan over Germany you never know

and i don't know Cameroon that well anymore compared to years ago when they still had Eto'o, i do like their coach though, always loved him in his playing career days, he was a good captain himself, Rigobert Song

Nicky91 24-11-2022 09:10 AM

great crowd atmosphere there already, especially from cameroon fans

Nicky91 24-11-2022 09:11 AM

two good chances from Cameroon, and a good save from Sommer

Nicky91 24-11-2022 09:14 AM

offside switzerland

Nicky91 24-11-2022 09:15 AM

what a chance Choupo-Moting, but offside so it wouldn't have counted

strong beginning from Cameroon

Calderyon 24-11-2022 09:23 AM

Switzerland v Cameroon 0-0 HT

Nicky91 24-11-2022 09:31 AM

Cameroon becoming more and more dangerous

second corner now for them

Nicky91 24-11-2022 09:42 AM

lesser ball possession for Cameroon, although Cameroon creating more chances in these first 40 minutes so far

MTVN 24-11-2022 09:51 AM

Cameroon have the Canada problem of looking dangerous but not able to finish

LeatherTrumpet 24-11-2022 10:09 AM

really well worked goal that

No African team have scored a goal yet in 4 games

This is why Afcon is always so poor

this to me feels a bit xenophobic from you , sorry to say it though

African nations have known better times yes, but with all honesty Morocco didn't play bad, and very much deserved that point

Cameroon deserved more than what they got, based on that entire first half too

Senegal are weaker without Mané but still they managed to make things a bit difficult for Netherlands, and Tunisia gave Denmark quite of a challenge too

next game after this one, Ghana vs Portugal, and we know they have weapons too to pose any threats for opponents defences, such as the Ayew's

African Cup of Nations also is always very enjoyable

Nicky91 24-11-2022 01:58 PM

deffo watching Brazil vs Serbia tonight

could be very entertaining, with Brazil's stars and Serbia whom got Dusan Tadic, and we all know Tadic can cause some drama in major games

Calderyon 24-11-2022 02:19 PM

Brazil v Serbia 0-0 9PM

By Afcon being poor I mean the Cup of Nations which always seems to be a notoriously low scoring tournament. I think the African nations have all played well but just can't finish!
