Pet shop boys tomorrow

Alf 25-06-2022 09:22 PM

Well, I'm gonna go make a cup of Horlicks for the McCartney set.

LeatherTrumpet 25-06-2022 09:24 PM

Waiting for Macca

Alf 25-06-2022 09:35 PM

What an opener.

LeatherTrumpet 25-06-2022 09:40 PM

80

Ffs

Alf 25-06-2022 09:42 PM

Can't see Justin Bieber or Taylor Swift headlining and rocking Glastonbury on a Saturday night when they're 80.

Alf 25-06-2022 09:43 PM

The crowd just want's him to do Beatles songs so they can sing along.

LeatherTrumpet 25-06-2022 09:46 PM

Brilliant

MTVN 25-06-2022 10:05 PM

Why is he covering the Postcode Lottery song

Can't believe the BBC arne't putting McCartney on live.

I wanna see an 80 year old rocking Glastonbury on a Saturday night.

What's the hour delay for? Are they gonna auto-tune him or is it incase he drops dead?

It'll be time for bed for most of his fans by the time he's on.

He will certainly need autotune from what I recall ..

Because it's his song.

Alf 25-06-2022 10:35 PM

Blackbird

What a song

smudgie 25-06-2022 11:05 PM

Nobody can sing Something like George can, but Macca did it well.

MTVN 25-06-2022 11:17 PM

Sorry but this has been rubbish. Disjointed set list, very few classics, crowd not that into it..

Big let down

smudgie 25-06-2022 11:45 PM

Brilliant, got better as it went on, more of the old songs, crowd look happy.

Alf 26-06-2022 12:17 AM

80 years old and he plays almost a 3 hour set none stop including some of the greatest songs ever written, brings out Dave Grohl and Bruce Springsteen, plays with a virtual John Lennon and you have the audacity to knock it.

You should be privileged to be alive in his lifetime to see that.

Superb show

Alf 26-06-2022 12:39 AM

I enjoyed that very much.

A superb nights entertainment.

That's what you call a headline act.

bitontheslide 26-06-2022 01:22 AM

lennon and McCartney wrote some good songs in their time, but McCartney hasn't been a good live performer in more than 50 years. That's the truth folks

Some would disagree.

that doesn't change the reality

iconic

these two should really team up more in studio

Olivia and Theon's sister Lily

Nicky91 26-06-2022 08:17 AM

Paul  someone should tell him he's 80 and no longer in his 30's

calm down or you'll get a heart attack from behaving like that at that age, goes for Adam Ant as well whom 67 and still jumping around on stage in his concert shows

in all fairness Paul vocally still sounds very well for that age

MTVN 26-06-2022 08:30 AM

I didn't realise he was going to play so long, went to bed at 12.30 when it was scheduled to finish so probably missed a lot of good stuff at the end :fist: thanks BBC
