Unions have been forced to call off a wave of planned strike action at Royal Mail after being challenged by the company on a legal technicality.
The Communication Workers Union (CWU), which represents 115,000 Royal Mail employees, said that following a letter from Royal Mail's legal team, it had decided to cancel industrial action that was meant to run every day from Wednesday, Nov 2 until Thursday, Nov 10. in your face union |

If they are not happy with their job and pay why don't they just leave and find something else to do, this country will never get straight if people are demanding more money all the time, I know a postie ,lovely lady ,I chat to her often and certainly is not on the breadline, and what an awful time to decide to strike.

I'm 100% in support of the post workers.
I was talking to the postman who usually delivers the post in my area. It's about more than pay too. He doesn't want to strike but has been pushed to way over the limits now. So reluctantly will strike. Despite that added hardship to him and his family. I really hope they get most of what they are fighting for. Good luck to them all the way. |
