I don't know what they're trying to achieve with these strikes.

I just looked at the ones they have planned for the rest of December and it's gonna cripple deliveries. I mean that goes without saying. Some Christmas cards won't be delivered till mid January that's what I heard. If at all.

They're only shooting themselves in the foot. All that backlog has to be cleared. They're making work very hard for themselves.

Of course they could always throw 80% of the letters and cards into a big furnace. I'm sure it's been done before.

Who cares if a christmas card arrives on time, and if its a parcel there are 50 alternative providers

Another Royal Mail Strike today

but they are not offering, a real 9% increase.

ive had a couple of parcels that were 48 hour guaranteed and about 10 days overdue, so it's not just strike days or letters that are affected now
