Have you ever tried something together that shouldn't go and it turned out to be amazing?

I've always enjoyed spicy Doritos at the same time as chocolate

But chocolate seems to go with everything I just had a fish finger and thought about fried mars bars I realised I had dairy milk caramel in the fridge so decided to have a piece at the same time as the fish finger. It tasted so good but sounds so gross

So does chocolate just go with everything?

So it turns out I'm not the only one to try this, there are recipes for dark chocolate going well with seafood. Well milk chocolate didn't taste too bad, and of course the batter will go with chocolate anyway. Was a bit like a salty churro haha

I think I'd like a prawn and chocolate spread sandwich.

Not nice, but scampi fres with a pint of guiness tastes like toothpaste.

I love a tin of Baxters Minestrone with lots of pepper and liberal squirts of spicy sauce and then heat up a tin of mackerel in tommy sauce, make 2 bits of toast and then put the mackerel on the toast and have it with the soup.

For the life of me i cant recall how this regular lunch was instigated

It actually is .. it was inspired by gammon and pineapple:)

I don’t have Spam too often but it’s nice on a buttie once in a while .
A slice of spam .. a little apple sauce which keeps the sweet garden peas in place in the sandwich

Dog food and stale bread sandwich...I call it the jorglen.

My bedtime cereal is an old fashioned concoction ...

Well there’s two actually depends on how I feel

1 - Porridge ( well pre -soaked ) plus SALT instead of sugar !!

It really tastes lovely .. and sweet ... crazy I know !!

Option two

Ready Brek in hot milk .. then add ALL BRAN ( add a bit of sugar to taste) !!

It tastes absolutely gorgeous plus you get some valuable roughage into your system

I dipped a salty McDonald’s french fry into a caramel sundae in the 2004 and the rest was history.
