was pruning a small tree with my new Felco secateurs

https://www.lawnmowersdirect.co.uk/w...MD-416x411.png

looked at my had and a wasp was on it, went to swipe it away and drew the blade right down the inside of my arm and it opened up like a burst cushion. Luckily i can walk to the hosp so i wrapped a towel around it and went. They put like 14 injections in my arm to numb it and then put in 14 stitches.

So annoyed with myself

dont open if squemish

also i had no idea but the nurse lady said:

Protect your scar from sunlight.

Your scar is very sensitive to strong sunlight and can burn easily, so please try to avoid exposing your scar to the sun. You should use a very strong sunblock (SPF 30 or higher) on your scar for 18 months after the surgery/injury that caused the scar.

Cherie 09-07-2022 04:59 PM

omg any lower and they would have sectioned you

hope its not too painful

Vanessa 09-07-2022 05:36 PM

Omg be careful. Glad you're ok.

hijaxers 09-07-2022 05:40 PM

Yikes I thought Tetanus were vital
Is there not an another option ?

I’m also allergic to Penicillin - that’s a worry in itself
