Children on leads

You don’t see it much anymore but I saw it today.
Was with a French friend who thought it was child abuse. Personally I just think it’s a bit funny.
Thoughts?

I wish I could go back to the 1960s but take Sky Sports , the Internet and NetFlix

Well yeah .. outside of school hours . I always felt very safe ;)

Even as 9 or 10 year olds we’d walk miles into the countryside to spend the afternoon fishing . No mobile phones back then .

Nobody ever got hassle off teenagers or anyone - they were good times .

I wouldn’t let our young kids do the same thing these days , I really wouldn’t

I've never heard or seen about this before.

It sounds like something Jimmy Saville might've enjoyed though.

It’s exactly the same as taking a dog for a walk. Except the dog is a child.

I remember the ones that go around the toddlers wrist, never had ones for my kids though, they are a little bit odd even though I suppose toddlers are tricky little ****ers so...

thesheriff443 18-07-2022 11:57 AM

I actually saw one on a child in the high street a week or so back but haven’t seen them in years.

It looks odd but better than having a toddler in a buggy screaming to get out.

Josy 18-07-2022 08:40 PM

Just bought some reigns for my little boy since he insists on constantly walking in the complete opposite direction that we are going.

Not a leash though :/

Crimson Dynamo 18-07-2022 09:04 PM

Redway 18-07-2022 09:06 PM

I’ve never understood people treating their children like dogs.

Lol, it's not treating them like dogs, its keeping them safe. Have you ever had a toddler in your care that decides they want to **** off, they are quick

I can see the attraction.. . Some little toddlers are all over the place - you must have seen kidz running amok or being silly in play centres or supermarkets or wherever

If it keeps them from running away or darting into the road then it’s worth it
