I can happily say i have never liked a single song he has put out

also his daughter Jessica trains for equastrian in my province (she's a olympic medalist too as of last year in Tokyo), in Valkenswaard at Tops horses training centre, which is why he has come here many many times, and also loves performing here at Pinkpop

I've tried to like Bruce but he just doesn't do much for me. He's legendary in America but then America don't do rock music as well as the British. They have weird taste over there. In the 1950s they gave rock to the World and they were good back then with the likes of Elvis Presley, Chuck Berry, Buddy Holly and Little Richard. But since then the British have dominated the rock genre. Prince for a bit in the 80s and Nirvana in the early 90s were the only times the Americans challenged the British at being number 1 in rock.

You've got to have at least ten great songs to be considered great to me and I only like about four of Bruce's songs. So he falls short of the mark for me.

Bruce is legendary across the world, his songs are true works of art that are deep and tells a story

I understand that and I respect he had to work harder than most to achieve what he did. He didn't have the rock star looks or personality so he did great to be one of the biggest stars of the stadium rock era. His songs are mostly about the streets of America so that's why his music probably doesn't relate to me much. But he did have four or five good songs that I like. "Born to run" is a rock masterpiece (the song, not the album)

Compared to Led Zep, Rolling Stones, Bowie or Queen, who was around at the same time, he's miles behind.
