Tibb's favourite British band.
A few years ago I did Tibb's favourite British sitcom, tragically won by Absolutely Fabulous. Now I want to do Tibb's favourite British band.
I need 36 bands before we can start, to go into the first round knockout stage. So suggest some bands to me in this thread who should be in. I will accept Fleetwood Mac even though they were British/American because they originally were British. So far we have The Beatles Deep Purple Genesis Pink Floyd Status Quo Coldplay ELO The Kinks The Moody Blues The Pet Shop Boys The Police Radiohead Depeche Mode Keane The Stranglers Simple Minds Deacon Blue Dexy's Midnight Runners The Smiths Wings Average White Band The Sweet The Bay City Rollers The Beat The Jam The Specials The Who Oasis The Stone Roses Queen Arctic Monkeys Madness UB40 The Rolling Stones Cream Led Zeppelin T Rex The Clash The Cure Duran Duran The Happy Mondays Blur Suede Supergrass The Libertines Joy Division New Order Kaizer Chiefs Black Sabbath The Sex Pistols Judas Priest Iron Maiden Def Leppard The Gorillaz Kasabian Razorlight Pulp The Verve Rainbow Wet Wet Wet Spandau Ballet Aztec Camera Orange Juice Altered Images OMD The Prodigy The Housemartins The Fine Young Cannibals The Beautiful South Super Furry Animals Stereophonics Busted McFly Simply Red Muse Franz Ferdinand The 1975 Florence and the Machine Fleetwood Mac Mott the Hoople Slade Squeeze Showadywaddy Ultravox The Human League Texas Travis Roxy Music Adam and the Ants Ian Dury and the Blockheads James Frankie Goes to Hollywood The Charlatans The Inspiral Carpets Culture Club The Eurythmics Primal Scream Dire Straits Soul II Soul The Lightning Seeds Big Country Bronski Beat Massive Attack Shed Seven Gerry and the Pacemakers The Searchers The Yardbirds The Animals Motorhead Wolf Alice Ocean Colour Scene Elastica The Damned Manic Street Preachers Heaven 17 Bad Manners Mike and the Mechanics Siouxsie and the Banshees Dr Feelgood Big Audio Dynamite Tears for Fears Soft Cell Mumford and Sons Supertramp Elvis Costello and the attractions |
