As always I have voted for the groups that have given me the most enjoyment over the years.

floyd or elo

First 4 were easy

Beatles
Coldplay
Oasis
Queen

Last was more difficult I was torn between Fleetwood Mac, Madness & The Gorillaz, I went with Fleetwood Mac because they're more iconic but now I'm thinking I actually prefer Madness :laugh: Doesn't matter, neither will win anyway I don't think

Haven't voted yet, but will be Beatles and Floyd. Not sure if I'll add any others.

At the start I chose my top 25 out of the 125 entrants and 15 of them made the final.

I split my top 25 into 5 in each poll so I could vote for them all. Gamemasters privlige.

Everyone should have to Vote for the full 5 imo otherwise it's not an accurate result and could be seen as strategic :suspect:

If someone wants to be strategic then choosing the lowest vote tallies to make up the numbers is just as easily done. Don't think I used all 5 votes in any prior round :hmph:

But what's the point in that result then, it's isn't a real result. It should be the best band thought by everyone pfft I could have just not voted for the Beatles to give Queen a better chance

Voting 5 times should be compulsory, then alf could have a rundown of tibbs top 10, he could do it like totp.

If you think 5 bands deserve to win, vote for 5 bands. I don't think there are 5 bands that deserve to win, and I really like some of the bands. If anything, using fewer votes should give the poll more integrity imo.

No it doesn't though. You pick your 5 favourites (whether you think they should win or not) and the one that most people share a liking for (whether it's their first or fifth favourite) should be the winner because it's most commonly liked by all people

ETA : If it's just which band is most people's No1 favourite then the Poll should only have the option of 1 choice imo :shrug:

I'd take that up with Alfredo if I were you because I've voted consistently throughout, and not once has anyone said I need to use all 5 of my votes :shrug:

I'm not getting angry about it or anything :laugh: I just think it would give a more accurate result that way

I can't make anyone vote for what they vote for I can only not accept your vote if you vote for more than 5 and not alter that in a post.

I would prefer you voted for 5 though. It's not difficult.

Alf just needs to rename the thread to "probably TIBBS favourite band" and then we are sorted
