Would you rather {[…] religious one, still}
Would you rather (in the afterlife) roast in the deepest, hottest furnace of hell fire for ten years and be transcended up to heaven for all-eternity afterward. or linger in purgatory indefinitely? Both instances in this hypothetical situation apply to a person (i.e., in some sort of parallel universe, your very own self) who was either of intermediate morality (as in not handing out candy-apples to kids on the street but not raping or killing them, either) or good/intermediate morality who made the mistake of committing a deadly sin (gluttony-excluded) on the [hypothetical] day of reckoning and had to account for it by at the very least not transcending to up-and-beyond the heavenly clouds straight-up. (I suppose this could’ve been in the Chat & Games section but I honestly couldn’t care less.)
N.B.: I do try and keep a/n fairly accommodating and open tone to my threads (by-and-large) but given the very nature of this thread (i.e., pure hypothetical imaginative musings and not a thread entertaining debate about the existence of God/higher entities in general), comments along the lines of, ‘heaven isn’t real’ can just do one. That’s not what this thread is for.
M’kay?
