What is your opinion on football?
Its 200 times better watching it at the game, than on tv.
|
I like National games better than Club Football.
|
Its a lot more stress-free than on TV
|
Much prefer going to the actual game than watching it on TV. The Tuesday night games can be a bit boring because there’s less fans attending those games (which makes sense obvs since it’s a working day).
The PL games don’t bother me too much since I don’t support any of those teams so I’m quite happy to watch them on TV or at the pub. It’s even more exciting when I put a little bet on as well. |
Watching any sport live is far better than watching it on TV…it’s all about the atmosphere..
|
I’m so-so about football in general so it is what is. But it goes without saying that I really don’t need to go to a pitch for the viewing experience. At most I’d only ever half-want to watch the game in any capacity.

Watching Chelsea in Munich in 2012 was the best experience of my life. If i could bottle the euphoria i felt after The Drog's winning Penalty (and he bullet header) and sell it. I'd be a Billionaire.
Since i had my daughter i don't go to live games anymore really. |
i will be with 50k tomorrow and it is amazing. Its the closest you get to battle
|
I love it personally, there's nothing more iconic in Sport than watching Birmingham City amazing me in just how schizophrenic they can perform.
Especially when a lot of the alternative options in the UK are Soap Operas. |

See when I was going home and away with hearts, way back in 1985/1993..the early days, say 85 to 87. Parkhead on a dark dreary tuesday night was some place to go... Bus windows used to be abnormal if they had intact windows. Still smashed them though, used to go home cheering like fock out the smashed windows with our recently acquired celtic scarfs on show. Good times...got mates that actually still partake in a bit of that. I cant anymore. |
Can't be bothered with it at all. Especially Scottish old firm games.

watching on tv is also pretty entertaining though
especially if you got commentators who talk about other stuff than the match itself  me cheering when my team scores a goal, standing up and running around also my mom doesn't get why i support Fortuna, when we aren't from sittard got nothing in common with sittard :fan: well i like them and i respect one of our players for 110% how he specifically wanted to come home for his ill girlfriend who has MS |
Other than the potato pies at half time I prefer watching on the telly ..
I like the punditry ( normally) plus the build up and all the replays from every which way . The last game I went to we were right behind a fabulous long range shot that hit the bar .. but I was programmed to see loads of replays !! So disappointed Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |
my brother is a city season ticket holder, i havent been to a football game in years, but i'm happy to settle down in my chair most weekends
|
I like to watch it live when Major National Competitions are on or when my National team is playing, but on Club Competitions is stick to live updates instead.

had to pick up smallest boy from A and E today as he nearly got knocked out in a game this morning from a ball booted in his face - big nose cut but we made Ibrox. Had to lie a lot to his mum to get there. Well worth it at 4-0
big NHS list of stuff to look out for tonight re concussion but he is grand |
