[A man, who police say is known
to the children, has been arrested

An 18-year-old girl and twins, a boy and a girl aged eight,
have died following "a violent incident"
at a house in Tallaght, Dublin,
An Garda Síochána (Irish police) have said.

Police were called to the scene
in the Rossfield estate at about
00:30 local time on Sunday.
The three siblings were taken to
Children's Health Ireland hospital
in Crumlin but were later pronounced dead.
A teenage boy, 14, is being treated
for non life-threatening injuries.

The children's mother, who was
not injured, is also in hospital.]
