  • The Famous TV star, 33, has told in his new book that he felt he 'couldn't carry on anymore' after his ex-husband Dan Neal left him
  • Rylan revealed that he had been unfaithful to his now former partner 'years ago' but that once he came clean him Dan told him their relationship was over
  • In his new book he writes of his mental health breakdown after the split: 'For the first time in my 32 years, I felt I couldn't carry on no more'

In his best selling new book Ten: The Decade That Changed My Future he writes of his
mental health breakdown after the split: 'For the first time in my 32 years, I felt
I couldn't carry on no more.

'What's the point?' I thought. I'd lost what I thought was everything, the one
thing I always wanted. World celebrity status. A man I loved. A family of my
own. And now it was gone.

'So I tried to end it. I won't go into detail as I don't think it's fair on my
mum, but thank God I was unsuccessful.'

Speaking at the launch of his new book Ten: The Decade That Changed My
Future, he said: 'I didn't just get mentally ill, I got physically ill.'

Following the breakdown of his six year marriage the telly favourite took five
months away from the spotlight due to his deteriorating health.

Obviously it's sad that he at one time felt like that.

Mental Health is still one of those topics that's still taboo in many circles (especially for men) Rylan is thankfully a very lucky man to have not been a statistic on the suicide death count.

Heartbreak is pretty brutal. I feel for him. I can take or leave him as a personality, never liked that Dan though, thought he was a smug ahole.

It's sad he's had to go through so much turmoil but I've never been a fan.

I wish him well though.

Lucky he had a book out so he could talk about it

And I bet you anything , he'll still get pushed to present BB next year. He should take a break from TV & social media.

The huge book payment advance and royalties help ease the pain, it's true. ;)

You are a bad man editing this quote, I almost posted about how disgusting it was for prizing his celeb status above all

You were always better without that man rylan.

I met him once on the way into stanford le hope station after he had been on big brother, I nearly went up to speak to him but then I remembered he was a dirty met cop.

I agree.

Especially if he does a Show like BB, where as a whole we're not a shy fandom when it comes to cutting remarks about people.
