Why do they do this? Obviously it's her body, her life, and if she's happy that's great. But why do all these women want to morph into the Karadashion's?



I feel like reality tv and plastic surgery (mainly facial plastic surgery) go hand in hand at this point. I can't honestly say i think any of these women look better for the surgery.

Because she's a woman in show business who's getting older. If she aged naturally she'd be judged as well for not being young anymore.

But don't you think all these women look much better naturally? And what about all these young girls in their 20's having so much cosmetic surgery?

Im not knocking them, the opposite actually.

I didn't know Gwen Stefani had done this ....I saw a clip of her from a year ago ,and she actually looked good still. She didn't need the plastic surgery,but it's her face.

I actually think Gwen looks great still, it's not something I would choose to do myself but then I'm not a celebrity either under immense pressure to stay young and look wrinkle free.

I would hate to be a woman in Hollywood or the public eye actually. You just have to look at the difference in leading men with their love interests to know why women in the spotlight feel pressurised into staying young looking. Much older men can age all they like and they'll still have a love interest 10/20/30 years younger. The only way that would happen the other way round is if that was part of the story line. It's gross, so yeah lets start with that instead of tearing down women who are victims of that culture

Women want to look younger for longer for themselves
Some women like some men take it to far

There is more pressure put on women by other women than men on women.

Imo it's best to age gracefully.

Plastic Surgery rarely looks better, unless the person unfortunately has suffered severe injuries and needs Plastic Surgery to feel better about themselves.

Just to clarify I didn't mean the last part as a dig.

But yeah, tbe Kardashians have a lot to answer for, when it comes to encouraging young women to make themselves look ridiculous.

There are an awful lot of young women in their teens and early 20's doing facial alterations these days. The number of fish lips ive seen is quite ridiculous. It's become the norm rather than the exception

I agree, she's 64 years old, her whole career has been around her image as much as the music she put out (maybe even more about her image) Why should she stop doing what she's always done just because she's gotten older? More power to her I say, she's dead right to live her life however she wants while she can, we're only here for a short time

So what?

I heard from a friend of a friend that there are ‘levels’ in the beauty industry .

Apparently the places who charge hundreds ( or far more ) will at least have trained people doing the procedure..

There are reports of the smaller , back street places sending their young girls
to get as little as ONE HOURS training before letting them loose on their clients lips and charging £40 a time !!!

So scary ..
