Netflix is banning people from watching certain shows
 

Those who chose the cheapest ad based subscription will not have full access to the library with certain shows being padlocked and viewers being asked to upgrade

Netflix aren't making smart choices imo, this is going to make people leave in their droves just on principle I reckon

This is what they do on the budget version of Paramount+ in the US.

the ad version of amazon doesnt allow full access to their content either.

This is not actually determined by the streaming company, it is the content owner that licenses the content to the streaming platform that dictates whether they consent to adverts being shown on it or not. For example if netflix decides to show adverts on their content, they may increase the cost for netflix to licence it

I don't watch Netflix, I do have it but I just don't watch it. So can any of you Netflix fans that watch all the shows and movies tell me if there is any truth in this tweet?

I think this tweeter is American and I don't know if American Netflix has different shows to the UK Netflix, or if it's all the same.

While there may be some small possibility in that, I'd guess that this tweeter is probably over exaggerating a bit.

I'd just like to hear from whether you regular Netflix veiwers think this is correct, over-exaggerated or totally false?

Do actually think about the movies you watch and think if characters fit this person's claim.
