I wonder why he's getting so angry and upset, does he not realise the show is meant to be fun?!.Plus didn't he get over scored anyway, despite throwing plenty of energy in ...he is still clumsy in his dances  .

He's been kept in... not for his technical ability, but because people find him 'entertainment'. I personally think he should have been booted weeks ago. But we all know how strictly works.

he wasn't overscored, more like undermarked :idc:

it was sad he got on the wrong foot but he still had a good bit of rhythm which is one of main basics of a salsa

and for a man of his age, i find him dancing quite well, i mean i've seen lots worse from some of the other older duffers in past series

we cannot compare him to younger blokes like Hamza, Tyler, Will

he just does do his best, and i cannot see him complaining being true, just fake news media bull****, must be pighead dan wootton behind this (and also behind the bull**** Fleur nonsense story)

Nicky91 06-11-2022 01:56 PM

oh yes, daily fail

the no.1 media tabloid of bull****

i think daily fail is starting to see Tony as a threat for a surprise glitterball win a la Hollins (could be, since he still has plenty of secret weapons at his disposal, waltz, foxtrot, viennese waltz all of which he can serve quality dancing with respectable good high scores at, as for crowdpleasing dances we still have Paso Doble, Argentine Tango and i'd rather we ditching the jive, rumba: jive because too fast for a man of his age, rumba because its super dull)

and we also want his couple choice, hopefully similar one lyrical Dan had last year

LeatherTrumpet 06-11-2022 02:27 PM

he has to go

losing his temper at a much smaller woman

nasty bully

GoldHeart 06-11-2022 02:30 PM

Oh I don't watch the main show, I just assumed Tony got 7s & a 8 , I've just checked the leaderboard ..I didn't realise he was bottom of the leaderboard.

I think a 6 is a fair score , he's throwing in the energy and he's trying. But he's just not technically a good dancer.

Mystic Mock 06-11-2022 03:26 PM

The Show feeding the Media negative stories on contestants to sabotage their vote.

This is starting to sound a lot like The X Factor.

Katya can handle that, she can be pretty fierce herself as well

you're probably just not an arsenal fan, of arsenal's real glory years in their actual stadium, Highbury

He wasn't bottom, that was Ellie T

Look at Will smiling. He's really enjoying himself and it shows. Him and Nancy are so close. I love it.
I like Tony, but that was terrible, way too many mistakes.

How can you have such big opinions and conspiracy theories if you don’t even watch the show? :joker:

I was in a corporate box every other week at Highbury for a few years and saw the glory years first hand!

Well considering her name is Ariel both sides are wrong.

But seriously things like that is what I'm talking about, I'm not even a Shirley fan but mistakes happen.

The public and the media by and large love to be vicious over a Talent Show, there's nothing wrong with not liking contestants or judges on these Shows, but character assassination attempts just says more about the people trying to do that rather than the person that they don't like.

joeysteele 06-11-2022 06:52 PM

Tony has improved but I'm surprised he's still in.
Then again clearly has a following.
So good luck to him.

As for Shirley.
She's all over the place with her comments with her marking not often reflecting her comments.

For me she's a terrible replacement for Len Goodman.
Just not impressed with her at all I'm afraid.
Has her favourites and shows it.

Well if the BBC had an ounce of concern..... :joker: sorry I couldn't say that line without laughing,as we all know the BBC doesn't give a damn . If anything they probably encourage this type of toxic media garbage.

If strictly and the BBC cared ,then they'd defend the contestants from all this , Fleur was left in the cold when that silly headline about a fall was printed. All these reality shows care about is the ratings. So yeah it's exactly like xf and tbh I think Strictly has been like xf for quite a few years now .

GoldHeart 06-11-2022 07:00 PM

Shirley was on Sunday Brunch this morning,I instantly switched the channel when she was being interviewed :bored: .

Can't stand the woman, and I don't want to hear about how excited she gets over her favourite contestants  . She needs to take a very cold shower .

She annoys me so much. So patronising, especially to the female contestants :fist:

That's why I don't watch the main , I don't want to get graphic.... but it sounds like she's sex mad when she sees the blokes.

I feel so sorry for Molly & Fleur busting a gut each week to please Shirley, who is probably jealous of them anyway .. unbelievable really :bored:.

I actually want Len back ,he had his faults but even he was more fair LOL .

It's sad though as it'll be the death of Strictly just like it was for The X Factor.

Even more so for Strictly because it's meant to be a fun Show, not BB where you're dissecting every aspect of a contestant.
