Has anyone heard about the big brother drama?

I read something yesterday that itv plan on doing a drama about big brother to build up anticipation about the new series starting. Is that rumour true?

Watched that last year I can't remember what streaming channel it was on. It definitely wasn't as good as the original time I watched it. Very low budget
