indie band Felt in 1985 when he was 16 years
old after frontman Lawrence posted
an advert in a Virgin records
He later joined Primal Scream,
initially playing on the band's first

and 1989's self titled record
After Charlatans' founding member
Rob Collins died in a car accident,
Duffy joined the group at the
last minute when they supported Oasis]

I saw the Charlatans a couple of years ago supporting James - they were really good live
