For Parm

All these "for" threads aye

I, and im sure others understand your frustrations with life, your frustrations with yourself, and in the extreme sense, you self destructiveness.

I've been there, im still there at times. Life is tough, we all just wanna be content, content, loved and as happy as this rat race allows us.

My ex hasn't allowed me to see my daughter in over a year now (she was happy to ask me for £500 for my daughters Christmas though, which i sent). She wont let me see her because when my daughter stayed for a weekend, i had sex with someone i wasn't really involved in. Anyway, she heard, told her mother and that was it. I was WRONG, no doubt. But you can build bridges mate. Christmas, all of it, so hard. The struggle can change you.

But Parm, don't give up hope. You know what, family ISN'T everything, i have members on my family i hope to never see again. But those you love, you must reach out too. Even if it means a tail between the legs!

I wish you nothing but the best Sir. A lot of people care for you. Defining a man is simple, falling down is easy, getting back up is hard, and takes courage!

Ps....Stay off the white, it's crap, been there, done that. It never really helps. Also, modern Coke is **** anyway.

From many of ours favourite Christmas Carol (i was told this many moons ago)

"fall on your knees, oh hear the angel voices"

Even when on your knees, angels are all around you to help you up.

:clap1::clap1: Wise and kind words. I hope you can build bridges and connect with your daughter in the New Year, you may have been in the wrong but you don't deserve being kept away from seeing her. Good luck.

Well said Swan. It’s easy to think we all live perfect lives but it’s extremely rare. I would say 90% of families have family issues…family fall outs. Parm is no exception. People like you to think their life is perfect…
We all make mistakes we live to regret…all we can do is move forward and try and put it right.

Aw you guys are wonderful.
This place really keeps me going.
No matter what going on with my life

Thanks so much swan.

I woke up regretting posting that post, but not now.

I'm in a happier place tonight and tomorrow, making people happy with my just being there( sometimes you forget that, you forget people do love you)

One thing I do have to say is, the white stuff was a one off. Probably only because it's the first time I've been out down town since The Scottish cup final.

Honestly TIBB, You do help me along the long journey of life never being the same.

Anyway, back to the xmas pyjamas my niece has bought everyone to wear round the xmas eve games table..uno next.

Al check in later maybe, but many thanks, and merry xmas to each and everyone of you, thank you all for noticing and understanding.

For Parm, and for Swan, for all who've posted in here and all my Tibb friends...a little known song that I love. Says it all.

So what, forget the embarrassment, we've all posted in times of stupidity. I know that crushing, ashamed feeling too. Not wanting to show your face in fear of being judged. Well sod it, be you, and know people care.

Have a lovely Christmas Parm, and remember, you're own best friend. Love and care for yourself. Because when we're feeling alone, we only have our own love!
