Greta Thunberg takes down Andrew Tate on Twitter
 

In less than a day, over 2 million people have liked a post from climate
activist Greta Thunberg which mocked controversial influencer Andrew Tate
for bragging about the emissions from his extensive luxury car collection.

On Tuesday, Mr Tate, a former kickboxer and influencer who has been
banned from numerous social media services for violent and misogynistic
rhetoric, tagged Ms Thunberg in a Twitter post, asking for her email address
so he could “send a complete list of my car collection and their respective
enormous emissions”.

The tweet also featured Mr Tate filling up a gas-guzzling Bugatti supercar at
the pump.

The following day, the climate activist responded with a tweet of her own,
replying, “Yes, please do enlighten me. email me at
smalldickenergy@getalife.com.”

“I had literally never heard of Andrew Tate until he was murdered by Greta
Thunberg this morning,” writer Charlotte Clymer wrote on Twitter.

“Lol okay so now that Greta Thunberg has officially defeated that weirdo
Andrew Tate, can we please leave his ashy unwashed remains in 2022,”
added comedian London Hughes. “You lot gave him waaaay too much energy
this year, I hate that I even had to learn who he was! Dude looks like an
expensive sexist pencil.”

“Andrew Tate, the Shaikh of millions of angry and insecure men, got
dismantled by a teenage girl,” writer Wajahat Ali said. “Christmas came late
but right somehow right on time.”

And I assume that the progressives will be screeming "misandrist" towards Greta for talking with hatred about a guys penis, the same way they screemed out "Misogynist" towards Jeremy Clarkson?

He obviously did it for attention, and i suppose in that sense it worked. But he's not come out of this looking any good really.

I vaguely remembered him from his 5 mins in Big Brother. I had no idea he was this wealthy influencer before he got cancelled. I've watched some stuff with him since then, and some of his interviews. He strikes me as a narcissist who loves to be made to feel important, offers very little, and is flash and self centred. Basically like 99% of all social media characters.

When people like him make their fortune, they crave attention. The attention becomes a lot more important than the money, even though they need to flash their wealth to get the attention.

I put him in the same category as H/M, all be it they play different characters, but ultimately it's the fame and attention that drives them, not the fortune anymore.

Andrew Tate is the poster-child for small dick energy so it's very fitting.

He will absolutely have tweeted at her for attention - I suspect though that he'll have expected some "outrage" in return that he could take aim at, there's not much he can do with that reply other than what Alf has done here (a sad whinge about misandry and trying to complain about some sort of concept of faux oppression and lack of equality). And that only reaffirms aforementioned SDE.

You can disapprove of both the game and those choosing to play it when the game involves exploitation (of both people and circumstances). Even if he's "role playing" and acting in every single thing he says he's sent millions of boys and young men down a very dark, sad, lonely and angry path. He's as damaging to young men as he is to women.

That might be true, and we all know he's playing a character, and in a weird "only in this generation" kinda way, it's working for him.

And i agree he's sending the wrong message to young men, but what about all these women who flock to him? That's the wrong message to send to young girls too. Maybe some of them like his personality, but lets face it most are only attracted to his wealth and status. Social media brainwashes young women, and men into thinking wealth and flash is EVERYTHING.
