No, frozen veg is awful, fresh all the way

joeysteele 01-01-2023 07:01 PM

No.
I only like fresh

Redway 01-01-2023 07:06 PM

I do sometimes. Frozen onions are a no-no from me (I chop meticulously from scratch) but frozen veg. sometimes tastes better and I think it’s supposed to.

Swan 01-01-2023 07:09 PM

Yeah i buy all of those, and the Pea, Sweetcorn and Runner Bean one.

Beso 01-01-2023 07:19 PM

Nope, it comes fresh with my just fresh box ingredients.

AnnieK 01-01-2023 07:19 PM

I prefer fresh veg but I have used the steam fresh ones for speed on occasion

I do use frozen onion when I'm making a spag bol / chilli etc just because I hate chopping o.ions

I like to go to Asda for my veg these days. They have it ready chopped up. And the spuds are ready peeled and chopped. So I can just chuck them straight into a pan of water and boil. They even have chopped up onion which is great because I hate chopping onions

We bug frozen veg apart from tinned peas and carrots ..

Apparently the nutritional value / benefits are the same for fresh / frozen or tinned though ..

One thing I bet no-one on here does (whether they prefer to buy/use fresh veggies or not) is slice cabbage with their non-dominant hand. (If you know, you know.)

bots 02-01-2023 06:28 AM

what are vegetables?

Cherie 02-01-2023 07:21 AM

frozen peas and frozen chopped onions only

James 02-01-2023 10:24 AM

Yeah, but fresh broccoli tastes better.

rusticgal 02-01-2023 11:35 AM
