USA: San Francisco gallery owner Hoses down a homeless woman
[Shocking moment San Francisco gallery owner – who once counted David Rockefeller and Arnold Schwarzenegger as clients – HOSES down a homeless woman and says he's only sorry she didn't move sooner Collier Gwin, the owner of Foster Gwin Gallery, was seen in a now viral video brutally spraying water at a homeless woman in San Francisco with a hose The incident occurred on Monday as temperatures hit a low of 49 degrees* Gwin insisted he is not sorry for his actions and that he was trying to 'help' her] https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...idnt-move.html Sign Of The Times. |
How can he say hosing down a poor homeless person is "helping them" , how about someone hoses him down ....let's see how he likes it . This is a human being ! .

Saw this yesterday, and it's absolutely disgusting behaviour. The dehumanisation of marginalised people is definitely on the rise everywhere, and it's heading somewhere extremely dark.
|
The guy is running a business and does not want homeless people/beggars directly outside his shop front I can fully understand why he is pissed off (not why he skooshed her tho)

As a side note, when I was travelling around the USA a few years ago, I visited a few Southern States/Cities and then the last stop was San Francisco and I was really struck by the amount of Homeless people there especially compared to the other places I'd been (Austin, Dallas, Houston, New Orleans, Memphis, Little Rock) |

San Francisco has the highest housing prices in the United States Democrats, and progressives dominating city politics Only building one house for every 8 jobs created but " The city's political class thinks homelessness is primarily caused by insufficient housing. In truth, homelessness is more often caused by substance abuse and mental illness. That mistake has caused the city to pour hundreds of millions of dollars into “affordable” or “permanent” housing programs." https://www.independent.org/news/article.asp?id=14298 |

SF and LA are a mess for druggies on the street.
I must say however that San Diego is idylic. The downtown is beautiful and homelessness does seem minimal, maybe like London levels. |
With the state of modern art, a smelly tramp outside would manage expectations quite well.

With Modern Art being as whacky as it is he’d have been better served paying the guy to sit on a big shelf in it’s own viewing room in the art gallery . Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |

But sadly the other person would face a punishment instead, so it's not the wisest path to pick. |
It's just the latest in a long line of daily occurrences in San Francisco on attacks of the homeless.
The city's council have lost control and give no support to local business owners. This video is nothing compared to the true plight of San Francisco's female homeless population. |
What an arsewipe. He could have least given her a squeeze of shampoo to go with it.
