i dont think anyone really cares about industries giving themselves awards for marketing reasons anymore

Niamh. 24-01-2023 01:41 PM

2 Nominations for Irish Actors in the Best Actor category

bots 24-01-2023 01:50 PM

i haven't watched the oscars in decades. With streaming platforms, nobody needs a marketing event to get people out to the cinema any more. There are loads of different ways they can get your cash

He has, he has a good come back/sob story as well so I think he'll get it

I haven't actually seen any of the films though besides The Banshees of Inisherin

Wow. Colin Farrell, Barry Keoghan, Kerry Condon, Brendan Gleeson and Paul Mescal all nominated for Oscars. The British media won't know themselves with all these names they'll be claiming as their own

I don't think he will but I'd love if he did. I think Barry Keoghan has a good shot at Supporting Actor though, he was very good in Banshees

I haven't seen either of them.
I've liked Farrell on Minority Report. He was just brilliant.
