PSV in crisis, too many money-lovers within board of directors, too little ambition

selling Cody Gakpo to Liverpool for 40 million

selling Noni Madueke to Chelsea for 35 million

sending Ki-Jana Hoever back to Wolves

buying nothing in return, expecting signing Wolves's Fabio Silva on loan for 1/2 year

absolutely pathetic

i did some research of some of our RVC (board council) Robert van der Wallen, chief executive at supermarket Jumbo, has a net worth of 1.1 billion

we cannot even sign a new sports director it seems, still waiting on John de Jong's replacement since october :joker:

poor Ruud van Nistelrooy, he already had his doubts about this club's ambitions in terms of the eredivisie, cup and europa league, but general manager Marcel Brands promised him he'd have a strong squad, and what does he have now, loads of nothingness crap players, what they did sign, Anwar El Ghazi whom has proven himself to be one huge flop, Xavi Simons is good but he can't do everything alone

+ now Boscagli, Luuk de Jong, Saibari injured

and the new youth prodigy Bakayoko ain't it either, he might look like Madueke, but he ain't a new Madueke by far

Nicky91 25-01-2023 07:30 AM

the only manager doing worse than Ruud this season is Schreuder at Ajax and he has nothing to complain about since he has the right material but he doesn't use his players the right way

Ajax and PSV are becoming a joke more and more for dutch football

they are obviously attempting to stay within FFP rules, so this would be perfectly normal

you can stay within FFP rules without overspending though

and there's plenty of good talents in scandinavia, belgian league too

Fortuna Sittard are perfectly staying within FFP rules and still doing some smart transfers, like our chairman Gun says ''if the squad isn't perfect yet, we need to keep being active on the market''

our owners also want to takeover 3 or 4 more teams throughout europe, to help out each other, against the bigger billions worth giants such as Man City, PSG whom in his opinion ''ruin football''

At least you're not Everton. That would be really tragic :smug:

Update: more crisis, coach Van Nistelrooy has resigned

after certain players who complained to the board of directors being unhappy with Van Nistelrooy as their manager, among which captain Luuk de Jong

Van Nistelrooy has resigned before the last match of the season vs AZ, where assistent Fred Rutten will be the interim coach (Rutten also stepping down at the end of the season, same as other assistent Andre Ooijer)

that is the 3rd young coach whom does not succeed at this club after Philipp Cocu and Mark van Bommel, but also one with a little more experience Roger Schmidt also did not succeed here, where he has success this season though at Benfica

----------------
hmmmm difficult who to blame here, Marcel Brands :idc: you literally promised Ruud a great squad yet you're selling two key players (Gakpo, Madueke) for 35 million

hoping many will leave too tbh

Andre Ramalho can leave

Philipp Mwene can leave

as far as i'm concerned

already certain is that goalkeeper Walter Benitez looking to leave too

uncertainty about Xavi Simons, will PSG buy him back using their release clause, will he renew his contract and move to another club after all, or will he stay in eindhoven for one more year???
