Dean & Bubble Promoting World Cup Song
Story from Ananova:
Big Brother's Dean and Bubble hand out World Cup song Former Big Brother contestants Dean and Bubble have been on a tour of the football stadiums across the UK to hand out copies of their World Cup song. The pair are hoping that Standing Tall will become a terrace anthem when it is released in May. The song will be played at half-time at several football grounds in the run up to the World Cup. Standing Tall has been said to have a similar feel to Baddiel and Skinner's hit Three Lions. It is segued with a pastiche of Consider Yourself from the musical Oliver, with the lyrics "consider yourself, knocked out". Bubble said: "I can imagine England football fans singing this one on the terraces." - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - I haven't heard this song yet. Has anyone else? If any of you are going to a football match today and happen to hear it being played, please let us know what you think of it. In any event - good luck with the song, Dean & Bubble - let's hope it's a hit with the fans! :dazzler: |

You have reminded me however that Dean promised to send me an mp3 of it. I think I'll send him an email and remind him. :thumbs: :spin2: :flower: |
It should be a hit! Dean and Bubble were pretty popular in the house. However, they are gonna have strong competition from Ant and Dec who are also releasing a World Cup song - oh well, who says there cant be two W.C songs?
Go both teams!!!!:elephant: |
I havent heard it but i want too
I cant wait 4 the world cup and I hope that England do well . And the songs might inspire them to do well in it like Euro 96 with 3 lions :elephant: |
I loved that 3 LIONS song, it got everyone in the mood for footie so lets hope the Big Bro boyz can do the same for us!!
GO ENGLAND!!:colour::hello::hello::colour: |
My local evening paper had a report on this last night and it said that Bubble and Dean were delivering a copy of the record to all 92 league football grounds in the next few weeks. Quite an undertaking, I think. They were visiting clubs around B'ham and Walsall yesterday apparently.
